Kilberry makes TOP-quality highland bagpipes in our own Edinburgh workshop. Skilled bagpipe makers work 6 days a week, producing hand-turned pipes as generations have done before them. All the raw materials such as wood, imitation ivory (plastic), nickel ferrules, bags etc. are delivered to the workshop and we produce a varied and interesting range of hand-made highland bagpipes.
Our range runs from the basic 'a' style, with fully combed (patterned) wood, wooden mounts and plain nickel ferrules, to the top of the range hand engraved full sterling silver design. All highland bagpipes are supplied with Kilberry's own make of top quality, traditional hand-made cane drone reeds, polypenco pipe chanter, synthetic 'Bannatyne' maintenance free bag and your choice of bag cover and cords all contributing to the overall TOP quality sound and appearance of all Kilberry bagpipes.

This
set is our most basic in terms of finish, with wooden mounts and plain
stainless steel ferrules. The wood is fully combed and imitation ivory
caps adorn the drone tops. This set is available in blackwood. The mounts
are made of wood, the ferrules of stainless steel.
Although more basic in appearance, the 'a' set will play and sound just as well as any of the more expensive sets. The higher up the price range you go, the more decoration you get for your money but the sound quality is always the same.

This
set is made in blackwood as standard and comes with imitation ivory

full set of highland pipes has a fantastic looking set of engraved
nickel fittings. These include ferrules, slides and mouthpiece tube
in the new 'Celtic Knot' design with imitation ivory mounts and drone caps.
The
set is available in nickel or sterling silver and since its introduction
earlier in the millennium year, it has proved a very popular set of bagpipes.
