Blowsticks, Valves & Water Traps

  • Universal Blowstick and Mouthpiece

    Similar to the Airstream, made from plastic with the built in rubber valve, the advantage of this system is that it has a plastic swivel or ball joint which allows the player to set the angle of the blowstick.

  • Airstream Blowstick and Mouthpiece

    Basically, it is a plastic blowstick with a built in Li'l Mac valve and an extremely wide bore and oval shaped mouthpiece. Very popular with bands and solo players, the shape of the mouthpiece allows a lot of air in whilst the reliability of the built in valve stops it going back up the blowstick. There is also a rubber 'gripper' on the top of the mouthpiece which a lot of players find very comfortable.

  • Kilberry Wide Bore Polypenco Blowstick

    As the name suggests, these are bored out to allow the maximum air flow all the way through to the stock. Contructed from polypenco, thse can be purchased with an imitation ivory mount or without. (shown on left and right of picture)

    These attach to the bottom of the blowstick stock and sit inside the bag. A metal spring gives the trap rigidity whilst the outer sponge absorbs the moisture. These are for nuse only with a zipper bag, allowing access to the sponge via the zip.

    This is a hide bag, with a synthetic lining, with access to the inside of the bag via an airtight zip. This means that the bag is maintenance free but that it has the weight and stability of a hide bag. The unit comes complete with a water trap made from synthetic material, strengthened by a spiral tube and results in one of the best and most airtight bags on the market.
